Is Chief Scientist of VPT. He was previously Chief Economist for Web Experiences, Strategy, and Policy at Microsoft, and he was a faculty member at Harvard Business School for 11 years. Ben pioneered the early manual and automated testing of adware, and was the first to test adware with screen-capture videos, packet logs, and virtualization. His ad fraud consultancy from 2002 to 2018 recovered double-digit millions for clients and put two perpetrators in jail.

Is Strategic Advisor at VPT. He was previously co-founder and CEO of BrandVerity, an enterprise brand protection SaaS company acquired by Partnerize in 2020. Previously, Dave led the engineering team at Judy’s Book and co-founded and led the data research team at IP geolocation company Quova (acquired by Verisign).
